About the Artist

I create art inspired by my own history. I grew up on a withering Appalachian farm, nestled up against the wildly beautiful Wayne National Forest, with my front door sitting just a few feet from a stretch of road known as “ The Dragon’s Tail” To bikers of the region. This intersection of the woods, the farm, and the outcast became the sweet spot of my art. I learned about the life cycles of the animals and crops we raised. I learned about the healing and danger to be found in the forest. I saw life come into existence, I saw it decay, and I found beauty in both. Behind it all, the sound of revving Harleys and Kawasakis alike became an ambient soundtrack. The day my mother introduced me to Metal, my fate was sealed.
